We believe skills are transferable and passion for our mission goes a long way.Your role as a Barista:You will be responsible for the preparation and service of Padres Perk beverages, including a variety of hot and iced coffees, teas, and specialty drinks. You will actively engage with customers and collaborate with fellow Baristas to prepare beverage orders and provide quality customer service. You will maintain the cleanliness of the Padres Perk workspace, monitor inventory, and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.All the responsibilities we will trust you with: Exemplifying our Padres Core Values/Mission Statement: Communication and Collaboration, Progress and Innovation, Accountability and Integrity, and Effort and Results, through building meaningful connections with a diverse fan base and serving as impactful leaders in the San Diego community Preparing beverages, both standard and customized, which may include tailoring ingredients to the customers liking Providing optimal customer service by engaging with customers while preparing orders Monitoring inventory and replenishing items as necessary Ensuring the workspace is clean, organized, and properly maintained Able to perform a variety of tasks, as requested, within the organization during each shiftYour areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most: Possess strong communication skills and effectively work well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of work, multi-task, and maintain a clean and organized workspace Ability to learn new skills and create innovative beverages Maintain professional demeanor with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability Maintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendanceYou will be required to meet the following: Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment Prior barista experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided Able to work flexible hours that may include early mornings Minimum physical requirements: able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds As a condition of employment, you must successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background checkSalary and additional compensation:Per the California pay transparency law, the hourly pay rate for this position is $19.43.
