Having found a strong traction with our customers and observing a rapidly changing AI tech capabilities, Zowie is now seeking a dynamic and product-minded Backend Engineer to join our Product Lab Team.

Ideally, you'll bring with you:

• Product acumen, ownership, and focus on value delivered to customers
• 3+ years of experience with Java, Scala, or Node.js
• Excellent coding skills
• Willingness to engage with customers to understand their needs
• High proficiency in English
• High awareness of when good enough is better than perfect
• Proficiency in managing project scopes and shifting priorities

It will be awesome if you have experience with:

• NoSQL and SQL
• Kafka or other message brokers
• GraphQL
• Docker Swarm / Kubernetes
