Backend Developer (Python) in JotSolutions

J.O.T Solutions, based in Israel, we are a leading provider of project management services. We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team (Python)

About the vacancy:We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to work on large-scale cloud solutions. If you like to solve complex problems and build systems that have a real impact, this position is for you.

Your tasks:

• Develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines for processing huge amounts of cloud data
• Infrastructure improvements: performance, scalability, reliability
• Develop new product features from design to production
• Collaborate with teams to define technical requirements and architectural solutions
• Improving technology stack and development practices

Requirements:

• 8+ years of backend development experience
• Python as primary language (minimum 4 years)
• Experience building large-scale, high-throughput backend systems
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Big Data
• Deep experience working with AWS (or GCP/Azure)
• Experience in developing SaaS products with real production traffic

Would be an advantage:

• Experience with distributed SQL (Presto/Trino)
• Container orchestration experience (Kubernetes)
