Backend Developer (Node.js) in GERC

Hertz Company is a leading Ukrainian developer of Fintech solutions for the public and commercial sectors. Since 2000, we have been creating systems that serve millions of users: from billing and payments to modern electronic services.

Now we are expanding the technical team and looking for a Back-end developer who will support and develop technological products.

Responsibilities:

• Development and support of the server logic of products on Node.js / Nest.js.
• Interaction with front-end developer, product manager and other technical specialists.
• Participation in negotiations with clients as a technical expert.
• Design of service and database architecture (PostgreSQL).
• Integration with API and work with queues/asynchronous processes.
• Development of new services in the field of utilities and electronic payments.

Requirements:

• 2 years of development experience on Node.js and TypeScript.
• Practical knowledge of Nest.js, PostgreSQL, WebSockets.
• Experience with modern APIs, message queues.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly approach the tasks.
• Teamwork, openness to new technologies and challenges.

It will be an advantage:

• Experience in the financial/government sphere (Fintech, GovTech).
• Understanding the principles of DevOps, containerization (Docker).
• Participation in the construction of highly loaded systems.
