Project Description

Our customer is a leading German producer of customized solutions for the self-supply of solar-powered electricity. This includes photovoltaic, energy storage systems as well as cloud technology systems helping individuals to become energetically independent.

Team External Devices is responsible for all the services/API’s for external devices.
External devices connected to our system are Wallbox, Heat pump (SG-Ready), Heating rod, PV system, configurable sockets. These Services have to be tested automatically through system, integration and load tests. End-to-end tests (where possible) are also to be carried out.

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a Software Quality Engineer /Test Automation Engineer
• Knowledge of modern development methods and tools (CI/CD, Microservices, Cloud)
• Experience in dealing with the challenges of software engineering from conception to operation.
• Skilled usage of Git, Jira and Confluence, Cypress, Xray Test management, Test automation Frameworks for API/UI, Load and performance Test Tools , Gitlab, Testkube
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Other language skills (German, Italian) - nice to have
• Excellent communication skills and a high degree of personal responsibility and interest in teamwork.
• Experience with Karate, SonarQube - nice to have

,[Work closely with the product owners and developers to establish quality standards within the sprints, develop a test plan and deliver high quality builds on time., Check requirements and design test scenarios using XRAY for the test management., Align and collaborate with the Digital Test team to improve the overall quality of the products, assess risks, identify common needs and work with other Quality Engineers on E2E tests., Define the appropriate agile test strategy for test automation in the team., Usage of Load and Performance test tools and Testkube for test automation., Close collaboration and regular exchange with the Customer Experience, Backend, Embedded and Product Management departments., Write and execute both functional and non-functional tests (manual/automated)., Establish a load test environment centrally., Share knowledge within the Digital Test Team practice with the aim of learning together and from each other.]
