Author-editor before Skvot Mag in Laba Group

We are looking for Author-editor, who will not only write texts in our magazine Skvot Mag, but will also take an active part in the formation of the magazine's strategy, creation of special projects, printed editions and cooperation with partners.

Your future tasks:

• write 4-5 texts per month on various topics and in various formats (summaries, interviews, guides, profiles, critical texts, articles with comments);
• find heroes for interviews and comments, pitch ideas to them;
• form Skvot Mag strategy together with the team, analyze the market and magazine content;
• search for and communicate with partners, participate in the management of special projects and partnership initiatives;
• lead the texts of columnists and guest authors, helping them bring the materials to the final form.

What is needed for high-quality performance of tasks:

• 3 + years of working with texts in a media or product blog (as an author or editor);
• perfect Ukrainian and English at the Intermediate level and above;
• understanding of modern pop culture, creative industries, trends (when they are not yet trends);
• ability to create captivating texts adapted to different formats and audiences, creative writing skills;
• fact-checking, research skills, special attention to detail;
• ability to process large volumes of texts, highlighting the most important.

Nice-to-have:

• understanding of the Ukrainian creative market from the inside;
• experience in writing English-language materials;
• understanding the technical aspects of different professions (we write about different things).
