- Project development (PDA) will identify specific interventions and measures that meet UCBI strategic framework and priorities. .
- coordinates work with other teams and colleagues from grants, purchases and operating activities to ensure joint planning and constructive relationships. , as well as profile experts and partners to improve the innovation and quality of projects and ensure the use of the best practices. that has an impact on the portfolio of the projects.
- informs the project development manager about the development of political, legal and economic situation on the ground and the impact of changes on UCBI activity and relationships.
- reports and adheres to the deadlines, Coordinated between the project development manager and colleagues from grant, purchases and operating departments. /
- promotes timely and accurate input monitoring, evaluation and training (MEL) within a certain geographical area.
- monitors and evaluates progress in the implementation Ect with a focus on the end results.
- ensures that all sharePoint (sp) and web-Based Database (WBDB) (Files, Reports, Results and Notes of the Project) are generated by all inputs.stored and stored according to project guidelines.
- Uses and maintains WBDB throughout the UCBI Project Cycle according to guidelines.
- Travels as needed for meetings and site visits programs to promote the effective development and proper implementation of the program.
- If necessary, the Project Development Assistant can perform special tasks and duties assigned to him by the Development Manager projects, to ensure the overall effective development of program activities.
Main areas of work: Idea Generation, Program Support, Relationship Support, Monitoring, Training, Reporting.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One (1) or two (2) years of experience working on complex field programs preferred,
- Proven experience working with grant programs preferred USAID.
- Ability/willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability/willingness to travel to UCBI locations.
- Demonstrated required analytical skills and understanding of the local, regional and national political context, as well as the ability to think creatively.
- Desirable knowledge of local organizations, community-based organizations and government actors and stakeholders.
- Desirable work experience with local organizations in the implementation of projects with the involvement of the community and projects of the consensus type.
- Mandatory ability to demonstrate in practice the successful experience of applying all the above-mentioned key competencies.
- Desirable work experience in the Kimonix company.
- Compulsory fluency in the Ukrainian language - in oral and written form.
- Compulsory mastery of English in the language - in oral and written form.
- For conscripts, the military ticket must contain a notation of military service account.

Program Description
The Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative 4 (UCBI 4) aims to support advancing Ukraine's unified, democratic, and Europe-oriented recovery from Russia's invasion. This goal will be met through two program objectives: 1. To Strengthen the confidence and ability of the most war-affected communities to participate in Ukraine's recovery and united future; and 2. Reinforce connections between people in the temporarily occupied territories with the rest of Ukraine.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing activitieswith various stakeholders and monitoring the technical implementation of activities within a South geographic area.
- Under the guidance of the PDM, the PDA will engage potential assistance recipients to design and develop grant concepts and activities that are strategically aligned with the UCBI strategic framework and priorities.
- Under the guidance of the PDM, the PDA will identify specific interventions and activities that are strategically aligned with the UCBI strategic framework and priorities.
- Serve as the PDM's “eyes and ears” on the ground ensuring that issues or concerns with activities and partnerships are quickly escalated.
- Coordinate with other teams and grants, procurement, and operations colleagues ensuring collaborative planning and constructive relationships.
- Pursue knowledge and learning opportunities from other team members and departments as well as subject matter experts and partners to deepen innovation and excellence in activities and ensure best practices are realized.
- Monitor and report on atmospherics (emerging trends, news, and developments) that relate to the political, social, cultural, and economic dynamics within the portfolio.
- Advise PDM on the evolution of the local political, legal, and economic situation and on how changes impact UCBI activities and relationships.
- Communicate and adhere to deadlines as agreed with the PDM and grants, procurement and operations colleagues.
- Support timely, high-quality, thoughtful contributions to UCBI communications deliverables including, but not limited to, Semi-Annual Reports, Success Stories, Case Studies.
- Contribute to accurate and timely MEL inputs within given geography.
- Monitor and assess activity progress generating detailed site visit reports focused on outcomes.
- Ensure all SharePoint (SP) and Web-Based Database (WBDB) inputs (files, reports, deliverables, and activity notes) are generated, named and stored per project guidelines.
- Use and maintain WBDB per guidelines in the UCBI Activity Cycle.
- Travel as required to program site visits and meetings to facilitate effective program development and compliant implementation.
- As needs dictate, the PDM may assign ad hoc special tasks and duties to the PDA to ensure the overall efficient development of program activities.

- Knowledge of local and community-based organizations and governmental actors and stakeholders preferred.
- Experience working with local organizations to implement community participation and consensus-type activities preferred.
- Ability to practically demonstrate successful experience with all the core competencies listed above required.
- Prior work experience with Chemonics desirable.
- Fluent written and oral Ukrainian required.
- Proficient written and oral English required.
- For conscripts, a note on military registration in military ID is required.
