The Analyst will provide high-level analytical and advisory support. The role involves conducting in-depth analysis, monitoring developments, and preparing briefings, non-papers and reports on matters related to Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Key Responsibilities:

•         Policy Analysis and Development:

•         Analyse current defence and security policies, and recommend improvements aligned

•         Prepare briefing notes, reports, and policy papers on defence, security, and efforts

•         Monitor international developments, NATO initiatives, and EU policies impacting Ukraine's security and defence

•         Support the development of strategies and action plans for Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration

•         Facilitate interagency coordination on defence and security matters

•         Maintain regular communication with relevant national and international stakeholders

•         Represent in meetings, working groups, and conferences

•         Track progress integration efforts and defence reform initiatives

•         Prepare regular reports

•         Identify challenges and propose solutions to address obstacles in the integration process

Qualifications and Experience:

•         A Master’s degree in International Relations, Law, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related field

•         At least 5 years of experience in defence, security, or Euro-Atlantic integration issues

•         Experience working with government agencies, international organizations, or think tanks in related fields

•         Proven track record in policy analysis, strategy development, and interagency coordination

•         Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information

•         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Ukrainian and English

•         Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

•         Proficiency in using policy analysis tools and software
