Analyst of market prices in The Right to Protection, CF

GENERAL INFORMATION victims of war, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

As part of the current project, the Fund works on improving the living conditions of people in compact housing in Kharkiv and Poltava regions. The project involves monitoring the condition of the premises to determine priority repair works, drawing up defect reports, holding tenders for selecting contractors and performing repair works, which will be accepted by the relevant institutions in terms of quantity and quality. The goal of the project is not only to improve physical living conditions, but also to ensure greater stability and security for vulnerable population groups, supporting their right to a dignified life.

The fund is looking for a Market price analyst in .  Kyiv,Poltava, Kharkiv (remote work is possible).

Purpose of the position

The purpose of the position is to ensure the control and reasonableness of market prices for repair works, materials, equipment, machines and mechanisms in the Fund's projects, which allows for the formation of realistic estimates, control of price risks, prevention of overcharging or underestimating the cost of works and guaranteeing the transparency of financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

Market monitoring and analysis

• Analysis of the cost of materials, equipment and mechanisms, as well asrelated services (delivery, installation, dismantling).

• Tracking price dynamics taking into account regional and market factors.

Formation and maintenance of the database of suppliers, average prices and types of work.

style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Verification of contractual prices for materials, equipment, machines and mechanisms.

Control of financial documents

• Checking the cost of materials and equipment in applications for financing, procurement and acts of completed works.

• Analysis of compliance of actual prices with agreed or current market levels.

• Preparation of analytical reports and justifications at the request of management.

Interaction within the Foundation

The market price analyst works with:

• estimate department;

• engineers and repair work coordinators;

• by the purchasing department;

• financial department;

• administrative and legal departments (within document flow).

Must know

• The procedure for concluding and executing contracts with suppliers and contractors.

• Nomenclature and prices of materials and equipment used in repair works.

• Fundamentals of estimated pricing.

• Standards of record keeping and document management.

• Principles of working with MS Office and other software tools.

• Rules of labor protection, safety technology, industrial sanitation and fire protection.
