Today, the Fund works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

< span style="font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Project of the Foundation "Continuation and reliable protection of vulnerable population during the transition from humanitarian aid to long-term solutions" is implemented with the support of the Swiss Confederation within the framework of the SDC IV project and focuses on IDP protection mechanisms and style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">local residents affected by hostilitiesin target regions.Support will be provided in the most vulnerable communities of Chernihiv region.

As part of the project, the Fund will provide, in particular, advocacy, legal, psychological consultations, primary medical care for IDPs and local residents affected by hostilities, as well as support the creation of sustainable mechanisms for the provision of social services at the local level.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Advocacy Analyst as a member of the project team will report to the Senior Advocacy Lawyer,To the head of the social direction of advocacy,Advocacy Coordinator and Project Manager.

Implementation of the project

  • Work autonomously within advocacy activities defined by the Senior Advocacy AssociateHead of the social direction of advocacy, Advocacy Coordinator and Project Manager in the field of improving access for IDPs and Locals affected by hostilities To Social Services, as well as on improving the system of providing social services at the local level;
  • To provide comprehensive advocacy support in the development and improvement of the social services system to local authorities and social services providers, in particular by reviewing local legislation, supporting local authorities, developing working protocols and strategies, legal support, training and mentories in the social services sector; FONT-STYLE: Normal; Text-Decoration: None "> Advocates the solution of social services, support the process of setting up a stable social services system at the local level, which will identify and respond in a timely manner (through, in particular, assisting in: defining community residents in social services ; -weight: 400; FONT-STYLE: Normal; Text-Decoration: None "> Organize and hold events and meetings with key stakeholders, mainly at the local level;

  • Consolidate Analytical Information, Analytical Reports and Other Materials for Presentation of Gaps in withAconovory to be eliminated;

      Coordinating the results of activities with the advocacy team to ensure the successful implementation of the project;

    • Higher Law Education in the field of law;
    • Strong Analytical and Communicative Abilities, Attention to Details;
    • confirmed the ability to carry out advocacy, develop and prepare quality documents/materials, including strategic and legal documents, etc. Weight: 400; FONT-STYLE: Normal; Text-Decoration: None "> Experience with local authorities, Verkhovna Rada and executive authorities will be a significant advantage;
    • Excellent understanding of the IDP situation in Ukraine;
    • Humanitarian Aid, Development and Research Policy, Special Knowledge and Experience and Experience in WPO Protection and Social Protection Protection and Social Services will be a significant advantage; /l>
    • Excellent ability to effectively speak English, Ukrainian and Russian, both orally and in writing;
