JOB DESCRIPTION:
The analysis and reporting specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting information in the field of defense and turning it useful management information and communication products for the PRoL program. This role requires diverse analytical and writing skills, thorough knowledge of the humanitarian context in Ukraine, the protection situation and stakeholders.
KEY DUTIES:
- Preparation of high-quality, informative, visually impressive monthly protection monitoring reports, situational reports, snapshots (selective analytical reports ).
- Providing common analysis of protection issues for early warning and developing joint advocacy and programmatic activities to mitigate and address emerging protection risks based on evidence.
- Ensuring – in collaboration with the PRoL MEAL Officer – visualization of information used in PRoL reporting and communication products.
- Checking the quality of information collected, initiating and participating in the review of protection monitoring tools and questionnaires.
- li>Ensuring the reliability and sufficient quality of data received from partners
- Creating and maintaining processes and systems of program information and reporting.
- Establishing and maintaining relations with the Protection Cluster, NGO representatives, local authorities and other interested parties.
- Performing the role of the person responsible for coordinating work with the requests of the Protection Cluster.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in an international NGO in the field of information gathering, analysis and reporting.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, attention to detail, ability to identify gaps and take initiative to address them.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize and quickly process information.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, as well as proven interpersonal skills and diplomacy< /li>
- Languages:excellent level of command of the English language, fluency in the Ukrainian language
- Computer knowledge, excellent skills in working with Microsoft Office and experience in working with financial and procurement systems
- High degree of flexibility and strong ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain self-control, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
