Sustainability and Income Generation Advisor

Overview of the position
For our projects Community Safety Net > (CSN) we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability and Revenue Advisor to support our team. An important aspect of CSN is educating communities about the exclusion of marginalized people and how local structures can be strengthened to support these people. Dorcas Ukraine strives to empower communities by promoting sustainable income and promotion of self-sufficiency. We work closely with local partners and communities to develop and implement innovative strategies that support economic development and sustainable development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and hosting sustainability workshops and generating income for ourCSNcommunity partners. In addition, the advisor will assist in the evaluation and support of plans for sustainable income generation and will provide grants for the implementation of the most promising projects. and tasks will be as follows:
Conduct workshops on sustainable development and income generation
- Development and conducting of comprehensive seminars for community partnersCSN.
- Present a range of sustainability options, including small business development, sustainability strategies and fundraising opportunities.
- Encourage discussion and exploration of innovative ideas fromCSN partners to develop strategies for sustainable income generation.
- Supporting communities in the preparation of grant proposals
< /ul>- Provide guidance and support to community partners in drafting compelling grant proposals for sustainable income projects.
- Review and provide feedback communication on draft proposals in order to improve their quality by providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Evaluation and supportsustainable income plans
- In collaboration withDorcas evaluate proposed income plans and budgets , presented by community partners.
- Review plans for feasibility, potential impact and sustainability.
- Grant provision and implementation support
- Identify and award small grants to the most promising revenue generating plans based on established criteria and evaluations.
- Facilitate the signing of contracts and agreements for grantees, outlining responsibilities and expectations.
- Monitor and support the implementation of funded sustainability plans, ensuring adherence to agreed strategies and goals.
Profile
The identity of the candidate is expected will fully support the vision and the mission of Dorcas. /ol>Knowledge and experience
- DegreeBachelor< in the field of business- administration, sustainable development, management of non-profit organizations or em> adjacent industry (preferably
- Has significant experience in evaluating business plans, budgets and sustainable development strategies. >
- It is highly desirable to have experience working with public organizations, non-governmental organizations or similar organizations.
- Confident command of the Ukrainian language, and knowledge of Hungarian is desirable.
Skills
- Excellentcommunicationandfacilitation skills >, with the possibility to attract a diverse audience. Ability to work independently and in member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel throughout Transcarpathia to meet with communities< /em>CSN.
