Our client is expanding its operations in Ukraine and is dedicated to supporting the development of Ukraine's defence sector. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Keeper to manage our warehouse operations and contribute to our B2B programs. This role involves overseeing inventory management and supporting the financial aspects of grant-funded projects from South Korea. Responsibilities:Monitor and analyze the market in China and other Asian countries, identifying potential business opportunitiesStudy competitors and evaluate their activities in the Chinese marketSeek and establish cooperation with Chinese suppliers, buyers, and other partnersNegotiate with Chinese companies, including agreeing on terms of cooperation, drafting contracts, and finalizing agreementsMaintain and develop existing partner relationshipsOrganize the procurement process for goods and services from ChinaMonitor suppliers' compliance with contractual obligations, including deadlines and product qualityEnsure timely delivery of products and oversee logistics processesCoordinate customs clearance for shipments and resolve issues related to customs proceduresInteract with customs authorities and prepare necessary documentation for customs clearancePrepare and process foreign trade contracts, invoices, certificates, and other supporting documentationMaintain records of foreign trade operations and prepare reports for managementMonitor invoice payments and ensure timely financial transactions with Chinese counterpartsTrack currency exchange differences and optimize expensesTranslate business correspondence, contracts, technical, and commercial documents to/from ChineseProvide oral translation during meetings and negotiations with Chinese partnersAssess and manage risks associated with international economic activity, including financial, legal, and logistical aspectsDevelop measures to minimize risks in international operationsMonitor changes in legislation in China and Ukraine related to international economic activitiesEnsure the company's activities comply with local and international laws and regulationsQualifications required:Fluent in Chinese (both spoken and written)Experience in negotiating and correspondence in ChineseKnowledge of other foreign languages (English, Japanese, Korean) will be an additional advantageExperience as a Foreign Economic Activity Manager or in international trade (particularly with China) for 2-3 yearsExperience with customs and logistics proceduresHigher education, preferably in international economics, foreign economic activity, international relations, or linguisticsSpecialized courses or certificates in foreign economic activity or international trade will be an additional advantageIn-depth knowledge of international trade, customs legislation, and foreign economic activity principlesKnowledge of international trade standards and rules (Incoterms, WTO, etc.)Proficient in computer use, with knowledge of office programs (MS Office, Excel) and foreign economic activity software (1C, SAP, etc.)Familiarity with specialized programs for customs clearance and logistics is a plusExperience in a foreign economic activity manager role or ininternational trade (particularly with China) for 2-3 yearsExperience with customs and logistics proceduresAbility to analyze markets and conduct marketing researchCapability to make quick decisions based on market and partner analysisHigh level of communication skillsExperience in successfully negotiating with international partnersAbility to organize logistics, supply, and documentation processesStrong planning and time management skillsResponsibility, stress resilience, attention to detailWillingness to travel for businessExperience working with Chinese customs authorities and government agencies will also be a significant advantageWhat we provide:Comfortable office in Kyiv (business center Leonardo); Schedule within standard business hours (Mon-Fri, 9 AM - 6 PM); Type of contract - Employment Contract;Health insurance and other benefits to discuss; Competitive salary and opportunity to grow.
