We are looking for an experienced accountant to analyze financial documents, maintain accounting records and prepare tax reports in EU countries and Great Britain. Key tasks include analysis of compliance of primary documents with business processes, accounting for exchange rate differences, revaluation of assets, conducting tax transactions with VAT, preparation of VAT Return, issuing invoices, currency risk management, as well as setting up accounting programs and managing the work of junior accountants.
Basic requirements:
- A deep understanding of the principles accounting - knowledge of basic accounting records, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, ability to ensure accurate accounting of assets and liabilities.
- Skills of analysis of primary documents - verification of compliance of documents with business processes and contractual obligations. Knowledge of tax law - understanding of tax requirements, including VAT and ability to prepare tax returns (eg VAT Return).
- Tax accounting automation: using Avalara/Zoho Books platforms to calculate Sales Tax, register in different jurisdictions and tax reporting.
- Compliance: Sales Tax management for several states and countries, integration of tax decisions into financial systems.
- Currency risk management skills - ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with currency fluctuations.
- Experience with accounting programs - use of programs such as Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, MSD 365 and other specialized systems.
- Financial documentation skills — effective and accurate invoicing, credit notes and other financial reports.
- Confident use of Excel/Google Sheets - ability to work with large volumes of data, analyze them and create reports.
- Ability to balance financial flows - ability to effectively plan, allocate resources and control financial flows to achieve sustainability and optimize costs.
- Skills for planning and minimizing financial risks - the ability to identify potential financial threats and develop strategies to reduce them, ensuring the stability and efficiency of operations.
- The level of English language proficiency is not lower than B1 for effective communication and understanding of financial documents.

- Managing the work of junior accountants - supervising the performance of tasks, training and supporting junior specialists.
- Analysis of primary documents - checking documents for compliance with business processes and contractual obligations.< /li>
- Accounting for exchange rate differences - analysis of the impact of currency fluctuations on financial transactions and adjustment of results.
- Revaluation of assets - regular determination the value of assets at the time of drawing up the balance sheet. Analysis of business operations - checking the correctness of the accounting of operations and making the necessary adjustments. Organization oftransition between accounting methods - supporting the process of transition from one method to another in accordance with the requirements.
- Closing the period - performing the necessary accounting operations to complete the financial period.
