Accountant for accounting of VAT tax obligations in Syngenta

Syngenta, a leader in the international market of agrochemicals and seeds, is opening a competition for experienced and ambitious specialists for the position Tax Accountant with VAT.

Main duties:

• Collection and preparation of relevant input data for tax documentation
• Issue and registration of tax invoices and calculations
• Adjustment tax obligations for the company's clients, in particular for retrospectively granted discounts
• Tracking the registration status of issued adjustment calculations
• Communication with client accountants regarding issued tax invoices and adjustment calculations
• Implementation of internal control procedures
• Reconciliation of payments with buyers
• Selection and provision of documents for auditors during audits and tax audits
• Participation in the month closing process
• Participation in conducting inventories
• Participation in internal projects of the department

Our candidate has:

• Experience of working as an accountant in the accounting of VAT tax liabilities from 3 years (must have experience with adjustment calculations )
• Experience in 1C and SAP accounting systems (will be an advantage), as well as the MEDOC system
• Confident command of a PC, in particular the Windows operating system, MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work both independently and in the team
• Knowledge of English will be an advantage
