Accountant for a soccer club (USA)

The company UrSource is looking for an accountant-economist for accounting and financial support of a junior soccer club in the USA. Our company and the management of the American club will provide comprehensive support for familiarization with the processes and training.

Working procedures will be developed in cooperation with the management, starting from the initial stages.

We are considering the possibility of remote work. 

Responsibilities:

• Internal financial reporting: preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the club management.
• Budgeting: budget development and control, variance analysis.
• Payroll management: administration of payments to staff, players and coaches.< /li>
• Receivables/creditors: control of payments and revenues from sponsorships, sales.
• Financial support of transfers and contracts.
• Cash flows: control and management of liquidity.
• Expenses and amortization: accounting for travel expenses, equipment, assets.
• Strategic support: analytics for management financial decisions.
• Compliance: compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of Justworks or QuickBooks / SAP is desirable; mastery of Excel.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, communication skills.
• English - level B1 and above.
