We are currently looking for an Accountant for further development and support of our activities in Ukraine.

Location: Kyiv

Your functional duties:

• Preparation of accounting documentation, analyzes and reports.
• Preparation of data for general accounting operations.
• Ensuring the provision of all necessary data for internal (Novartis Financial Reporting System) and external reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensuring proper document management (including receiving, sorting, scanning, checking, archiving documents).
• Demonstrating local and international knowledge accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (eg, government agencies, etc.).
• Training and support local reporting and communication with relevant parties and bodies.
• Support of accurate and timely maintenance of statutory and tax accounting books.
• Communication and cooperation with domestic and foreign business partners

Basic requirements:

• Higher education in economics and finance or other equivalent degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Good organizational skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (advantage).
• Experience with SAP (advantage).
• Accuracy, initiative, responsibility and communication skills skills.
• Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing work environment and the ability to work in a global matrix environment
