Walla Walla Studio is looking for a freelance 3D character animator to join one of our projects. This is a contract one-project, remote role.

What will you work on?

Commercial project: creating a gamified metaverse experience

Platforms: PC, WebGL

Engine: Unity

Animation software: Maya

Artistic topic: Carnaval

Responsibilities

1. Animation of human low-poly characters which include custom animations and retargeting library animations.
2. Working with basic animations: idle, walking, dancing.
3. Face animations for dialogues, including emotions

What kind of professional are we looking for?

1. Middle/Senior 3D Character Animator with 3+ years of experience
2. Strong portfolio with 3D Character animations
3. Proficiency in Autodesk Maya
4. Strong understanding of character movement and anatomy
5. Ability to work remotely and independently

Would be a plus

1. Experience with animation integration into Unity
2. Experience in retargeting animations
3. Rigging skills
