Description:We are looking for an Environment engineer (Tableau) to join our ambitious project dedicated to one of the Clients of our Fin-tech portfolio. You will be working as a part of the distributed cross-functional Scrum team based in Poland. You will create and manage the site’s users and groups, create projects to organize content on the site and assign permissions to allow users (groups) to access the content, and many more.

Description:

We are looking for an Environment engineer (Tableau) to join our ambitious project dedicated to one of the Clients of our Fin-tech portfolio. You will be working as a part of the distributed cross-functional Scrum team based in Poland. You will create and manage the site’s users and groups, create projects to organize content on the site and assign permissions to allow users (groups) to access the content, and many more.

We are an enthusiastic team, tightly integrated with the Customer and empowered for business and technical decisions. This Project is a part of the Multi-Year Program Plan.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau software (Desktop Pro, Server, Interactor), with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture and administration
  • Experience as Tableau administrator, developing in, configuring and administering Tableau Server
  • 3+ years of experience in BI role working specifically with the Business Community producing analytical reports/dashboards, predictive analytics, and ROI calculations demonstrating the value of BI
  • Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations
  • Strong Knowledge in BI tools including ETL, Data Warehousing, and other BI tools
  • Experience in Tableau scripting (TABCMD and TABADMIN)
  • Ability to architect a stable Tableau solution guaranteed for high operational availability
  • Experience working with Relational Databases (SQL Server – required, Oracle)
  • Expertise in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning & disaster recovery
  • Good knowledge of Tableau Metadata tables
  • Good communication skills (English language)
  • Agile Practices

Job Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Tableau Server Software Layer
  • System Administration (includes site creation, server maintenance/Upgrades/patches)
  • Change management including software, hardware upgrades, patches
  • Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements
  • Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing)
  • Create/Manage Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources and Data Connections
  • Manage and support migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards), from development to production environments
  • Provide appropriate training and support to business users on the use of Tableau interactive web reports, and Tableau Desktop
  • Partner with businesses to design tableau KPI scorecards & dashboards
  • Assist in the identification and migration of data sources to Tableau server
  • Assist in the development of workbooks and dashboards to support business initiatives
  • Develop and document standards/best practices for the development and administration of the Tableau platform
  • Work closely with technical architects, and data and software engineers to ensure optimal application and data database/warehouse design to support reporting requirements
