Responsibilities: -System monitoring and outage recovery -Perform configuration, maintenance and operation of distributed software systems, -Take part in designing, developing and deploying systems automation -Work with high availability / high performance systems -Take part in system support, upgrades, and system hardening -Participate in documentation of incidents and outages Required skills -General computer Literacy -Strong Shell/Command line scripting experience -Understanding of networking -Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills -Basic understanding of FTP, HTTP -Understanding of XML and JSON -File systems, sharing, permissioning, administration -Experience administering Windows and Linux servers is a strong plus -Basic Python scripting is a plus -Good English, written and verbal -Basic knowledge of US Equity (stock) markets or any kind of trading experience is a strong plus -Self-organized, detail-oriented -striving for new knowledge -high level of responsibility -ability to make decisions independently and promptly -ability to find non-standard solutions in critical situations Shift work required (weekly), rotating shift schedule with shifts 9.00-18.00, 11:00-20:00 and 18:00 to 03:00 (once every 5-6 weeks).
