DevOps engineer in Payme

What we expect from a candidate:

• Knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Version control systems: Git
• Atlassian Suite: JIRA / Bitbucket / etc.
• Automation Applications: Jenkins / Bitbucket Pipelines
• Centralized configuration management: Ansible
• Databases: MongoDB, Clickhouse

What to work with:

• Implementation, configuration and support of a centralized metrics system
• Implementation and configuration of an alert system and taking action in case of failures / incidents
• Implementing, configuring and maintaining logging infrastructures
• Set up centralized configuration management with tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
• Identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance (database indexes, Redis), etc.
• Deployment Automation (CI&CD) and other repetitive tasks with Bash / Python or tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.
• Implementing automated backups and validating backups
• Managing Permissions, Backups and Performance in MongoDB, Clickhouse.
• Active interaction with the development team
• Introduce technical innovations and actively seek improvements in the overall infrastructure
