Infopulse welcomes specialists to join our project as Database Developer (Cloud) to join our AWS delivery team. This role is intended to design, develop and support AWS-based data lake and data warehouse solutions.
Areas of Responsibility
Building the bulk of data integration in AWS Cloud utilizing the vendors API package to push data to their SaaS solution.
ETL design and development of data flows between on-premise and cloud systems and regular delta processing
Design and implementation of backup strategy
Performance optimization
Troubleshooting critical incidents and problems
Cooperation with DevOps team
Qualifications
Oracle PL/SQL experience
Python experience
Willingness to work with AWS Cloud services
Thorough understanding of relational database concepts and SQL
English: Intermediate level and above
Will be an advantage
Experience with AWS services is a plus (AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon Redshift, AWS S3, Spark/PySpark)
Experience with Azure Cloud services is a plus
ETL development experience in Big Data projects (RDBMS/non-RDBMS, on-premise/cloud)
Personal Skills
Skills to collaborate well in a distributed team environment and brainstorm with other developers/DevOps staff on ideas and technologies
Well-developed technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills
Flexibility to adapt to change and willingness to learn and develop new skill sets when necessary
Troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
