Data Visualization Specialist in Adaptiq

We believe that data is one of our key assets, which could and should be applied in every part of our business. To this end, Data Visualization team aims at creating and developing a coherent BI reporting system that solves most of the potential questions on the business's current state w/o even asking.

This role contributes to the Global Data team. Along with the dashboards' development, you will be an admin and architect of the self-service BI platform supporting more than 300 users across the territories of Gett operation: Israel and the UK.

You should be passionate about digging into data and telling the story with it. You should know how to select best-fit visualizations showing insights to the business stakeholders and helping them in their day-to-day decision-making process.

Areas of responsibility:

Dashboards development

● Collection and analysis of business requirements;

● Development of dashboard backend – a creation of data sources by combining data from the

DWH or connection to published data sources;

● Visualization of the data using the corporate template and best visualization practices;

● Quality checks – functionality tests, data accuracy checks;

● Presentation/adoption of the result to the stakeholders and collecting feedback.

Tableau Server administration

● Systems performance analysis and tuning using TSM and RMT or alternatives;

● Users, content, and jobs management;

● Technical dashboards creation based on Tableau repository data;

● Process automatization.

Users support & Bugs resolution

● Resolution of user requests and bugs through Helpdesk and other channels;

● Quality checks of existing dashboards and data in the DWH.

Development of data-driven culture

● Development of users; communities;

● Active participation in infra-optimization projects;

● New processes & approaches of development.

Requirements:

● 5+ year of work experience in BA / BI / Data Visualization;

● Graduate from a top-tier university with specialization in Computer Science/Math/Data analytics – advantage;

● Proficiency in SQL: ability to quickly write efficient code selecting data from multiple

sources (CTEs, temp tables, sub-queries, views), knowledge of query optimization techniques,

proficiency in window functions;

● 2+ year of development experience in Tableau – calculated fields, LODs, parameters, actions,

dashboard containers layout;

● Solid knowledge of data visualization principles /practices and aesthetic awareness;

● Experience with other BI technologies (i.e. Power BI, QlikView etc.) - advantage;

● Experience with Linux, command line, Python, Git – advantage;

● Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the wood behind the trees along

with attention to deep details;

● Fluent in English;

● Can-do attitude, self-discipline, ability to push things to happen, passion for learning;

● Strong communication, problem-solving skills and proactivity;

● Proven team player.
