Data Engineer in Solid

We are looking for a **Data Engineer** to join one of our Products Teams. The Data Engineer will be part of the Analytics and Data team with the aim to build a scalable and reliable Data Warehousing and Analytics ecosystem. You will work closely with business, engineering teams to gather requirements, hence building optimal data transfer, data modeling, and analytics solutions. This is a hands-on role with a good understanding of underlying infrastructure concepts, data warehousing best practices as well as good knowledge of efficient analytics on large data sets. **What you’ll do:** — Design, implement, and continuously expand pipelines by performing preprocessing, cleaning, and verifying activities — Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing data processes that bring high leverage to yourself and Solid — Develop ETL/ELT data pipelines that are easy to maintain and monitor. — Work effectively with multiple teams to deliver world-class analytics solutions **Who you are:** — Have experience of 1+ year working with data — Excellent in the communication of complex data or technical functionality — Fluency in Python, as a primary language we use — Ability to write complex SQL for processing raw data, data transformations as well as data validations — Experience in working with API’s to collect or ingest data in batch or real- time **What will be a plus:** — Experience with AWS technologies stack including S3, Redshift, RDS, etc. — Experience with data integrations (python, spark. etc.), data warehousing (redshift, snowflake, etc.), analytics (Tableau, Mode, Looker, etc.), and scheduling tools (Airflow) — Good know-how on ways of integrating Machine Learning into real-world systems — Mathematical or computer science background **Our Company is a unique place for development and growth** : **Comfortable work environment and flexible work hours** An excellent office with a summer terrace, lounge zone, kitchen, and PlayStation located within an 8-minute walk from Kontraktova Ploshcha metro station.
