CloudOps Engineer in Alcor

The Senior CloudOps Engineer role requires maintaining reliable, fault-tolerant infrastructure and application availability to meet the demands of our growing customer base. CloudOps Engineer will be responsible for production operations and releases of SaaS applications deployed in the public cloud. This position requires 4+ years of hands-on experience as a CloudOps Engineer supporting production SaaS/PaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the applications and related cloud environments in multiple geographies

- Ensure 99.9% of application SLA is met

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensure proper security controls and best practices are in place

Primary focus on environment optimization using product maturity models

- Provide mentoring and technical guidance for junior / mid-tier roles

- Azure environment resource deployment and management

- Perform scheduled maintenance activities, and ensure that releases are planned, developed, validated, and deployed to testing and production environments

- Maintain regular backups of the environments and applications

- Participate in annual disaster recovery tests

- Participate in SOC/ISO audits and ensure all audit controls are adhered to

- Able and willing to provide on-call duty

Qualifications Required:

- Hands-on Experience with Microsoft Azure is required

- Excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Microsoft IIS, and PowerShell scripting

- Understanding of network administration (VLANs, ACLs, VPN, routing, etc.) and TCP/IP protocols

- Knowledge of cryptography technologies (TLS, IPSec, FDE, TDE) and enterprise EDR systems is strongly preferred

- Experience with managing single-tenant and multi-tenant SaaS applications is preferred

- Experience working with Oracle and database connections preferred

- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, release, and management

- Relevant Cloud or DevOps certifications are preferred but not required

- Ability to balance multi-task and multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
