The Role:

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for the leadership and strategic innovation for cloud environments and services, help guide our infrastructure strategies, and develop new technologies and platforms.

We are looking for individuals, who have a desire to architect and ability to rapidly analyze use cases, design technical solutions that meet business needs while adhering to existing standards and postures, lead multiple technical teams during implementation. Successful candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills in English; will be comfortable explaining technical concepts to a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership and has deep understanding of modern architecture and design practices, patterns and tools.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fielded
• 8-10 years of large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or Python
• Solid experience working with customers/Product owners/Product managers to convert the requirements into the technical specifications
• Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Demonstrated success as a software developer, and application architect with various platforms
• Architecting, designing, and developing applications on the AWS platform
• Designing and building applications using Container and serverless technologies in AWS
• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
• Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and automated deployment
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with Azure is a plus
• Worked with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Able to work in a diverse cross-functional team

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for hands-on Cloud application architect who has built applications to be fully optimized, they need to be architected to take advantage of the global scale, elasticity, automation and high availability features of the AWS cloud.

He has experience building cloud-native applications using AWS developer API services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, Kinesis, AI and others provide opportunities to design and build cloud-ready applications.

• Work as a technical leader alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams and Lead technical and design discussions to help speed their adoption of new technologies and practices by developing and owing POC.
• Work with business stakeholders/product managers to convert business requirements into technical specifications
• AWS best practices building microservices architecture
