C Embedded Developer in TietoEVRY

We expect you to have:

• C and Linux as a mandatory competence (C99 with fluent knowledge about new features that improves readability and performance (e.g FAM, restrict))
• Good memory management understanding. (Cache – RAM, data layout, static vs dynamic memory)
• Good knowledge of embedded software design principles (KISS, OOP in C)
• Basic HW understanding (pipeline, registers, ALU)
• Ability to solve SW/HW interoperability problems
• Basic testing skills (Unit Testing frameworks) + module testing
• Experience with tools: Gerrit
• Wide knowledge related to Telecommunications in general

Good to have:

• Experience and knowledge of 5G/4G RAC system
• Experience with SW build tools (like bazel and Makefile), SW versioning
• Experience in model-driven development
• Experience in programming on Linux platform
• Scripting languages (python, bash)
• Optimization (system, bottlenecks/profiling, tradeoffs, memory, cycles)
• Troubleshooting system issues
• FPGA design
• SIMD concept (avx)
• Automotive, where you will be responsible for implementing, integrating, and debugging project specific software modules in automotive part of the business.

We expect you to have:

• Experience with embedded software development using C/ C++ (minimum 11) or embedded C
• Knowledge about HW debugging

Good to have:

• Background in Ethernet, WiFi and LTE as well as diagnosis and FOTA especially in the automotive world
• Experience in programming on Linux platform
• Android automotive experience
• Familiar with A-SPICE and automotive safety
• Knowledge in Classic AUTOSAR and related SW components of telematics ECUs
• IAP2 protocol knowledge
