About the client:

• Merlin Records
• Merlin are a member led, music focused organization. We provide digital music licensing for independents across the globe. Members benefit from Merlin’s premium deals, but work directly with key digital partners, to help them compete at the highest levels.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture (Big Data solutions, Data Warehouse Design, Complex Pipelines, Stream Analytics, Multi-site implementations, Multidimensional Modeling, Reporting Solutions...)
• Hands-on experience with Python, AWS, Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop, etc.
• Experience dealing with complex big data solutions;
• Experience of Streaming platforms;
• Attention to detail with an ability to identify risks and gaps;

Responsibilities:

• Build enterprise data strategy;
• Create data model, design;
• Responsible for the building, deployment, and maintenance of mission critical analytics solutions that process data quickly at big data scales;
•  Contributes design, code, configurations, and documentation;
• Maintain data catalog (currently using Snowflake);
• Lead project implementation from ideation to completion.
