Back-End Developer(PHP) in ISRAEL IT

The project is around 13 years old, but there is almost no legacy code, it has been already refactored to new technologies.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Middle Back-End Developer to work within the client’s technology team. Preferably with experience of working in big companies. In the beginning, the developer will start working with the client area to learn the system better: develop new features and improve an existing one, after — move to more complicated tasks. Along with coding, you will need to do a code review of other developers. No need to write unit tests or any kind of test — they have a pretty big and strong QA team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for at least 1,5 years;
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English (technical interview in English);
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.);
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL;
• Experience with building restful JSON web services;
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds;
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments;
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system;
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment;
• Ability and willingness to dive into code written by others to figure things out;
• Knowledge of API.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with C++, Java, HTML5, JavaScript or jQuery Expert.
