## Project Description * * * Smart Device Link is a project which intends to standardize and wraps the many in-vehicle interfaces which may exist in the automotive context. The end goal is to provide an expandable software framework to both mobile application developers and automotive head unit creators for the creation of brought-in applications that appear integrated onto a head unit. Detailed information could be found in Internet: http://www.luxoft.com/automotive/sdl-profiles/ http://www.luxoft.com/automotive/in-vehicle-infotainment/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4_1mVOvINo; https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=AzdQdSCS24M ## Responsibilities * * * * Support all testing activities throughout software development lifecycle * Learn products, processes, technology, and apply that knowledge in a productive manner to ensure quality testing of new software releases and support in diagnostics of site issues * Participate in task planning, risks evaluation, estimation processes * Perform creation, execution and maintenance of test cases (manual and automated), any other testing artifacts * Identify and report defect in defect tracking system, support defect throughout defect life cycle (reproducing, additional logs etc.) * Timely report status and progress of the activities to supervisor ## Skills * * * Must have * Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Computer science or related field * Must have demonstrated high attention to detail and organization in previous or current job * Must be able to work independently as well as a solid part of a team and have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must be an excellent multi-tasker, self-motivated and a quick learner * Participation in task planning and risks evaluation processes * Good knowledge in software testing and software development processes and methodologies * Good knowledge in test cases development techniques * Experience in Test Plan, traceability matrix, reports, other testing artefacts development * Practical experience in work with requirements (analyzing, clarification) * At least basic knowledge in XML, UML * Experience in Linux/Unix OS using Nice to have * Experience with defect/task tracking system (Jira as a plus) * Experience with version control system (SVN, GIT as plus) * Experience in scripting programming languages Lua or Python as a plus * Experience in a mobile application testing technologies as a plus * Experience with Automotive and/or Connectivity Technologies as a plus ## Languages * * * English: B2 Upper Intermediate
