Project goals are software implementation for Client infotainment hardware platform intended to be used in mass production car/vehicle market.
SW platform: Android 8.110
The scope of the project includes SW design, implementation, integration and maintenance phases in accordance with the industry standard for development processes in the automotive segment (Automotive SPICE).
– Be able to lead the feature development, previous experience as a SW development lead orSW manager is required;
– Familiar with SW development for automotive;
– Requirements management and analysis experience is required;
– Some experience with application development for Android OS and knowledge of the corresponding technologies (such as System services, Android services, Android SDK, JNI, HAL/HIDL, CTS/CDD, HMI app development) is required;
– Highly desirable: knowledge/experience with automotive Infotainmentsystems and their components, such as Tuner, Media, Fota, 2ndparty applications, Vehicle interface (CAN), Camera domains etc.
– Is a plus: experienceusingLinux OS;
Bachelor in Computer Science or related fields
– Requirements management for the assigned component; clearly understand corresponding requirements;
– Customer facing including quick handling of escalations and debugging requests, discussing with the customer current and expected behavior;
– Handle change requests (including estimations), clarify the requirements with the customer when needed;
– Monitor and set the direction for the development team to meet the milestones.
– High level logs analysis to identify if the misbehavior is related to assigned component;
The candidate should be comfortable with a test bench setup and be able to use it if required.
Status update to stake holders on a regular basis. Prepare materials for the customer from a technicalperspective. Represent materials to customer and participate in customer’s meetings. Be ready to bring concerns and risks that impact schedules, milestones, be able to negotiate the directions to mitigate concerns.
