Tech Lead / Senior Fullstack Engineer - 34304
Ten-plus years in software across five industries, six of those years in fintech. Today I work on a Ruby on Rails and Next.js commerce platform: Stripe Connect payouts, multi-currency checkout, subscription and installment billing, affiliate and promo mechanics. Behind that sits event-driven infrastructure, and covered by end-to-end test infrastructure.
Fintech is the deep end, but not the whole of it. I've also shipped in education and e-learning, e-commerce and marketplaces and telecom. Industries fail in different ways, and having worked through several of them I tend to see the problem coming: the compliance question nobody asked, the reporting requirement that quietly reshapes the schema, the integration that won't survive real traffic. That range is why I'm useful in an unfamiliar domain in week one rather than month three.
A growing share of my work is now AI-native, and not in the demo sense: MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, multi-agent orchestration, and LLM integrations wired into production paths where correctness matters. I run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini as part of daily delivery.
Before this: backend in Node.js, PHP, Java and .NET, a long front-end track through React, Vue/Nuxt and TypeScript, and DevOps whenever someone had to.
What I'm actually good at: owning a domain end to end instead of working a ticket queue. Deciding what to build, making it hold up in production, leaving it maintainable for whoever comes next.
