I am working as a manual QA Engineer at outsource company.
I'm the only QA on the project, so I have a lot of responsibilities to cover during the assignment.
I'm involved in all the QA/QC-related processes such as:
- Software testing (Web, Mobile, API, DB)
- Quality metrics setting up and their collection
- Improvement and optimization QA/QC processes on the project
- Creation of high-level QA/QC documentation (Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Standards, etc.)
- Creation of test cases
- Release preparation, testing (automation and manual), and deployment support from QA side
- Testing environments preparation, deployment, and spinning up for different goals: functional/regression testing, BA UAT, Product/Client UAT, Demo sessions, etc.
- QA/QC estimation and planning
- Requirements clarification
- Onboarding and supporting other QA/QC engineers (both from Company and Client side)
- Leading and conducting QA/QC knowledge transfer sessions
Also, I've just finished a mentoring program for automation QA.
I keep developing my skills.
