My name is Viktoriia Diakova, I have 13 years of experience in travel industry (in different positions), but now I want to switch the field. 

I am looking for a position as Junior Manual QA.


At this moment, I have already finished QA Start course at Start IT School. Studying at school gave me basic knowledge of SDLC, Scrum, Test Documentation, Test Design Technics, Client Server Architecture (HTTP, HTTPs), experience in using Chrome DevTools and writing test documentation (Test Case, Check List, Bug Report). 

Experience in working with Jira. Also I have finished online video course at Prometheus online platform (Basic of Software Testing). 

In addition, I am in a progress with online courses at Udemy (Software Testing).


I have experience from my previous job that gives me understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. 

During 2013 – 2019 I worked for E-commerce Department at UIA (www.flyuia.com) as a Help-desk Manager and later as a Project Manager. 

I have experience in working with bugtrucking systems (Mantis, Basecamp, and Jira). As Project Manager I was involved in implementation for web-site such modules as Ancillary Service Module (it includes online seat reservation, purchase of extra bag, order meal and health insurance), Module of Advertising Banners, Reporting Module, etc. 

I have experience in taking part in negotiations with foreign partners. 


QA position for me is not only about just finding the bugs or simple testing, it is about the responsibility to help the team to create quality and user-friendly products.

Researching of new payment processing partners and submit new applications for partnership.

Completing various application forms and preparing other required documentation.

Working with KYC questionnaires.

Preparing financial reports. Preparing defense materials for chargebacks.

Monitoring e-commerce transaction data accounts for suspicious activity and potential fraudulent activity.

Working with fraudulent transactions (online communication with clients if the transaction suspicious), decline or approve the transaction. Setting new fraud rules and edit existing rules.

Coordination of timeframes and budget.

Drawing up monthly plans for the development and implementation of new OBE modules.

Drawing up a high-level description of functionalities for development team.

Supporting the development process (communication with the development team and departments inside UIA).

Manual testing of new modules. Acceptance testing. Analyzing the results of tests.

Carrying out A/B testing.

Informing related departments about the launch of new modules into production, drawing up manuals and training colleagues (if necessary). Administration new modules (setting up).

Preparing reports (weekly, monthly). Comparative data analysis (using tools such as Solring Reports, Sale, Cognos, Google Analytics, Firebase).

Provide support of OBE (Online Booking Engine) and PSP (Payment Service Provider) on the website of UIA. Work with ВМР (Amadeus Business Platform) – create new terminal, generate sale reports, automatic ticketing solution (void ticket, resend ticket confirmation to passenger), print-form (adding logo, banners, links, remarks and rules). Work with GDS Gabriel and Amadeus (ticketing, refunds, BankTransfer).

Prevent fraudulent transactions (fraud monitoring). Dealing with disputes / chargebacks. Customer support. Preparation weekly and monthly reports.

Working in Mantis, Basecamp, Jira. Understanding of Agile methodology (Scrum).
