Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer in A-LISTWARE

A-LISTWARE is looking for a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer.

Our Customer:

A technology and marketing company headquartered in Manhattan, NY, who provide powerful marketing tool using a patented technology which allows businesses to capture shopper identity and item level data in realtime from purchases made in store and online.

Your tasks:

• Design and maintain cloud (AWS) server infrastructure (Linux based) and Docker microservices (ECS based) with Ansible, Python and CI / CD (Jenkins / Rundeck) tools Ensure the high availability, scalability and security of the company\'s ECS (AWS Docker) infrastructure;
• Participate in planning the delivery pipeline by estimating the time required for delivery, analyzing dependencies between various pieces of software, and improving visibility to other team members;
• Ensure high operational standards by developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of how the business software systems function and by keeping up-to- date product operation documentation and knowledge base.

Required experience and skills:

• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; system performance-monitoring tools, identity providers, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching;
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation);
• Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically AWS);
• Networking knowledge: Load balancers, firewalls, VPN’s, TCP/IP – troubleshooting, performance tuning;
• Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems;
• English — Upper-Intermediate+.
