This product is the market leader in data protection, backup, restoration and disaster recovery. The goal of the first project phase is to migrate some modules of a desktop to WebUI on the modern stack. The migration work is already in progress, it was started by in-house development, and lots of product modules are already fully functioning in WebUI. We will need to help them complete this migration by doing the migration and ensuring the quality of migrated functionality.

About team:

Our team is geographically distributed: in-house developers are in the USA, and our team is in Ukraine, Georgia, and Poland. On our side, we are willing to have 3 teams of 8 people in each (3 Back, 3 Front engineers, 1 QA, 1 BA). Currently, we hired around half of these teams. All teams are going to be focused on building functionality in the new WebUI application based on the existing logic in an old desktop application.

We are looking for a talented BA who will help one of 3 teams to figure out the backlog of work, who will work closely with the client to understand the scope of work, and then create user stories for the development teams. BA will also support the development team through the development cycle by ensuring that the team has a full understanding of the work to be done.

Job requirements:

• 3+ years experience as BA
• Advanced English speaking and writing knowledge
• Ability to retrieve all the required information needed to document feature requirements
• Good analytical and system thinking skills
• Good self-organization skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to navigate thru uncertanty and lack of information
• Ability to run meetings
• Attention to details
• Ideal candidate has experience in working with enterprise systems (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams)
• Ideal candidate is results directed
• Tech background is a huge advantage

Responsibilities:

• Work with client team to capture, refine and elaborate on new system features and functionality
• Document functional and non-functional requirements derived from interviews and other types on conversations with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders
• Validate requirements with engineers
• Deliverables: System Requirements Specification, or User Stories
• Delivering requirements to the engineering team in the right form and timeframe
• Support team in working with requirements during the iteration
• Create domain knowledge expertise together with other business analysts
• Communication/consultation with the team, including client team
• Conduct demo
