Senior MS SQL DB Developer w DataArt

## About the vacancy Our client works in online retail and is one of the largest players on the eCommerce market. The company is developing rapidly and today there is a need to transfer the existing IT solution to a microservice architecture. The project’s technology stack is based on .NET and MS SQL. DataArt is the main vendor for the client. We are looking for a Senior Engineer with deep knowledge and understanding of MS SQL DB who will join a team of 7 engineers. The specialist will have to help both with tuning the performance of the current solution and taking a direct part in creating the architecture of the future platform. We hire people not to a project, but to the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”. ## Must have * 5+ years of experience in developing commercial applications using MS SQL Server * Experience with projects in the eCommerce industry * Good knowledge and experience in T-SQL development * Understanding ETL and database replication * Optimization of queries and recompilation * Optimization of MS SQL Server performance * Experience in building and maintaining data warehouses * Excellent communication skills * Knowledge of the peculiarities of MS SQL implementation ## Would be a plus * Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) * Experience with Tableau * Knowledge of .NET * Understanding of the Agile development methodology
