Senior Back-end (Node.js) Engineer w Chimplie

As a senior back-end engineer at Sircular, you will take ownership of your work, from designing solutions to deploying and operating them. You will be involved early in the Product Design process, contributing to product decisions and keeping the user perspective in mind while providing a strong technical voice in our product development.

In this role you will build back-end services, APIs, write reusable code and libraries for future use, and work on optimising our applications for maximum speed and scalability. You will also implement security and data protection measures, as well as design and implement solutions for data storage. You will write unit, integration, and E2E tests. Working closely with the rest of the team, you will also be expected to actively mentor more junior engineers and set them up for success.

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

• Fluent English (at least upper-intermediate)
• 3+ years of Node.js development experience
• Experience building GraphQL APIs
• Experience with MongoDB and relational databases
• Experience with developing services in AWS
• Experience with authentication and security solutions
• Experience with unit testing (also very welcome is experience with integration and E2E tests)
