Our purpose is to serve higher education institutions, small to medium-sized enterprises, and entities who are disadvantaged in their ability to protect themselves from increasing security threats due to cost-prohibitive services and capabilities. The Role:We are looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead and manage our Ukraine-based engineering team at Hilltop Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps and a deep understanding of both back-end and front-end development. This role requires technical expertise in Python, Django, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and Containers for rapid deployment. You will work closely with our CTO and Technical Program Manager to ensure the successful execution of projects that enhance our cybersecurity platforms. Objectives of this Role: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers working on both back-end and front-end development projects. - Collaborate with the Technical Program Manager and CTO to plan, prioritize, and execute engineering projects. - Utilize your deep knowledge of Python, Django, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and Containers to guide technical decisions and lead by example. - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing. - Ensure the smooth and efficient deployment of applications and solutions. - Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance across all engineering projects. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes and practices. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: - Design and implement new features and enhancements for our cybersecurity software platform.- Manage the integration of front-end components with back-end systems, ensuring seamless functionality.- Optimize the performance, security, and scalability of our applications.- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards andзабезпечити дотримання найкращих практик. - Усунення несправностей і налагодження проблем у різних середовищах, забезпечуючи своєчасне вирішення.- Співпрацюйте з міжфункціональними командами, включаючи дизайнерів UX/UI та менеджерів із продуктів, щоб надавати орієнтовані на користувача рішення.- Внесіть свій внесок у дизайн та архітектуру нових функцій, гарантуючи, узгодити з нашими технічними та бізнес-цілями. Навички та кваліфікація: - Ступінь бакалавра або магістра в галузі комп’ютерних наук, розробки програмного забезпечення або суміжної галузі. - 7-10 років досвіду в розробці програмного забезпечення, приділяючи значну увагу DevOps і управлінню командою. - Перевірений досвід управління та керівництва інженерними командами як у бек-енд, так і в інтерфейсі розробки. - Глибокий досвід роботи з Python, зокрема з Django. - Великий досвід роботи з Docker, AWS і Terraform для управління інфраструктурою та розгортання. - Вміння керувати контейнерами для швидкого розгортання та масштабування. - Глибоке розуміння конвеєрів CI/CD, автоматизованого тестування та інфраструктури як коду. - Відмінні комунікативні навички, здатність ефективно співпрацювати з міжфункціональними командами, включаючи технічного менеджера програми та технічного директора. - Сильні здібності до англійської мови, як письмової, так і усної, зі здатністю чітко формулювати технічні концепції та співпрацювати з міжнародними командами. - Сильні навички вирішення проблем із проактивним підходом до вирішення проблем і постійного вдосконалення.
