Client built own tech stack to have scalable column-oriented database cloud solution for the backend of their service.Main Tasks And ResponsibilitiesPerformance Analysis & Optimization: we analyze and optimize the performance of our cloud database solutions on Arm and Intel platforms. We identify bottlenecks using advanced profiling tools and methodologies;Deep C++ knowledge: apply your understanding of C++ language features and best practices to write efficient, maintainable, high-performance code;SIMD Programming: utilize SIMD (Single Instruction, Multiple Data) programming techniques to accelerate performance-critical sections of the codebase;Concurrency & Lock-free Techniques: utilizing lock-free data structures and algorithms to ensure high concurrency and reduce latency in multi-threaded environments;Performance Monitoring Tools: use and leverage tools such as `perf`, `top-down analysis,` VTune, `gprof,` and others to detect and resolve performance issues;Collaboration: work closely with a customer, clearly explain the root causes of performance bottlenecks, and provide actionable solutions and recommendations.Education, Skills And Experience MUST HAVE:Experience in C++ programming, with a focus on performance optimization;Python, at least for reading and understanding developed tests;Proven experience in performance profiling and analysis on Arm and Intel platforms using tools like perf, VTune, top-down analysis, etc.;Solid understanding of lock-free techniques and concurrent programming;Experience with SIMD programming using AVX, SSE, and NEON instruction sets.Would Be a PlusExperience with database systems and SQL, familiarity with their performance characteristics;Knowledge of compiler optimizations and low-level hardware considerations.Show more Show less Посадовий рівень Старший середній рівень Тип зайнятості Повний робочий день Посадові обов’язки Інженерія і Інформаційні технології Галузі ІТ-послуги та ІТ Консалтинг
