You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power our AI-driven solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance of our backend infrastructure.What you'll do:Develop and maintain backend services: Design and build scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems using Python.API Development: Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs to support various AI functionalities and integrations.Database Management: Implement and optimize databases, primarily DynamoDB, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance.Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS services, particularly serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) to deploy and manage backend services.Collaboration: Work with product managers and other teams to define backend requirements and integrate with frontend services.Security and Performance: Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of backend services, implementing best practices for coding and deployment.Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality software.What you'll bring:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python.Experience with AWS services, particularly for serverless applications (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).Strong experience with databases: Familiarity with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases.Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to debug complex issues and optimize backend performance.Experience with version control systems, especially Git.Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Passion for startups and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Nice to Have:Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., Celery, asyncio).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Understanding of UI/UX design principles and working knowledge of how backend systems integrate with frontend architectures.Benefits:Be part of a fast-growing, innovative startup.Competitive salary and equity options.Flexible working hours and remote work options.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A collaborative, inclusive, and diverse work environment.
