The platform automates and simplifies complex tasks associated with managing WordPress websites, enabling businesses to focus on creating great content and growing their audience.Job Overview:We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), Python, GoLang, and Terraform. The ideal candidate is mature, with excellent communication skills, and is capable of meeting the high demands of our client.Key Responsibilities:Kubernetes Management: Experience with Kubernetes on GKE, AKS, or EKS, including creating and managing clusters.Python Development: Utilize Python for automation, scripting, and integration tasks.GoLang Development: Develop, test, and maintain applications using GoLang, focusing on performance and reliability.Infrastructure as Code: Leverage Terraform to define and provision infrastructure, ensuring consistency and scalability.Project Goals:Implement a new storage class for regional persistent disks that supports the desired failover functionality and is compatible with the GKE environment.Update the provisioning API to manage the creation, management, and deletion of regional persistent disks, including force-attaching disks to VM instances during failover.Design and implement test scenarios to validate WPOD failover capabilities, ensuring minimal downtime, data loss, and performance degradation.Ensure database and disk consistency during WPOD failover processes, preventing data corruption and inconsistencies.Conduct performance tests comparing regional PDs against zonal disks under various workloads and conditions.Create comprehensive documentation and best practices for WPOD failover with regional persistent disks on GKE, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.Must-Have Qualifications:Extensive experience managing Kubernetes on GKE, AKS, or EKS.Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.Solid experience in GoLang development.Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management.Ability to communicate effectively with demanding clients and work independently in a fast-paced environment.If You Are:Experienced in Kubernetes management on GKE, AKS, or EKS.Proficient in Python and GoLang.Skilled in Terraform.Ready to take on a challenging project with a demanding client.And You Want To:Successfully implement a storage solution with failover capabilities.Update and manage APIs for better resource management.Design robust test scenarios and performance tests.Ensure data integrity and optimal performance during failovers.Contribute to comprehensive documentation and best practices.Apply Today!
