Web Development Internship IRC153419 in GlobalLogic

Description:

We invite you to join the Globallogic Web Development internship program. During 3 months of training, you will build up an understanding of the web applications development process and gather the necessary knowledge and skills to make the first steps in the industry.

The internship program offers two tracks:

• Backend – designing and developing server-side applications
• Frontend – designing and developing web client applications

Both tracks offer hands-on experience in software development according to the scrum-like approach.

During the internship one will be able to work with the tech stack listed below.

• Backend: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, REST API, Swagger, Docker, AWS, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Node.js,React, REST API, Swagger, Docker, AWS, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket

There is a high chance to stay with us longer! All you need to do is be motivated, goal focused and ramp-up skills.

Requirements:

• Willingness to start a career in the IT industry
• Knowledge of fundamentals of JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript
• Technical curiosity and interest in web development
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Positive, open-minded, and communicative
• Availability – 5 days a week, 7 hours a day (on average)
• Willingnessto continue a career in GL

Job Responsibilities:

• Workingin software projects – starting from gathering business requirements, through the design and development
• Taking part in internal training
• Working independently as well as within the group
