Job Description

• University or tertiary level student of Graphic Design, BA in IT or similar, and humanities (Communication, Psychology, etc).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in user experience, product design or interaction designer role developing web-, desktop-based, and mobile app solutions
• A portfolio demonstrating a good level of visual aptitude
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards
• Creative mindset
• Strong ability to understand technology and human behavior
• UX Design using industry standard tools (Such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc)
• Manage Design patterns in websites or apps
• Leverage Design Systems (existing or from scratch)
• Ability to defend design decisions and negotiate with product teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to share and explain insights and results in simple and powerful terms to a variety
• Work experience in an international team, close communication with clients, design and development teams

English: Intermediate

• Fluent enough to communicate with native speakers with some degree of fluency and ease effortlessly.
• Capable of understanding the main ideas in texts of medium complexity and in standard language, provided.
• Deal with topics these speakers are familiar with, whether they are work-related situations, or about their studies of leisure activities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Use of usability principles and techniques, user-centered design, analysis and/or mastery of graphic/web design.
2. Implementation of design strategies, standards and accessibility.
3. Executing tasks that enable the optimization of the user experience by interacting with the software systems in order to meet the project objectives.
4. Be a part in on-site workshops and work sessions with internal and external teams
5. Conduct market and user research
6. Designing the Look and Feel of interfaces for the user, optimized for its subsequent implementation in the development phase in order to collaborate on the delivery of project requirements in due time and form.
7. Managing the proper channels of communication to inform about progress, state of the project and work decisions relevant for peers, team leaders and clients.
8. Coordinating and performing research tasks through techniques that allow gathering information that is necessary to understand the context of the solution to be developed, obtaining evidence to suggest possible solutions, generating reports and communicating findings to clients and the work team.
9. Analyzing the assigned client’s domain, suggesting the best technical solution and contributing to the correct advice to make decisions.
10. Using tools and methodologies effectively, suggesting best practices to improve the internal processes of the project they are participating in.
11. Helping draft commercial proposals, understanding and handling basic storytelling concepts, with the possibility to take part in estimations of size and effort.
12. Training or helping train lower-seniority partners or team members, acting as a coach, delivering training sessions to promote a continuous learning environment in the project and practice.
