Senior/Lead Software Engineer [Scala] in EPAM Ukraine

We are currently looking for a Senior/Lead Scala Software Engineer to join our team of professionals.

Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with Big Data technologies: Spark, Hive, HDFS
• Knowledge of Basic Scala
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of the English language at the spoken and written levels

Technologies of the project

• AWS services - EMR, S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, CloudFormation
• Platform for data processing and analysis Hortonworks (HDP) hadoop
• Hive
• Spark, Spark Streaming
• Yarn
• Apache Knox
• Kafka
• Scala as a programming language

Will be an advantage

• Knowledge of Linux will be an advantage
• Ability to write bash scripts will be an advantage
