Requirements:

• PHP MVC Framework experience
• CakePHP (preferred)
• Laravel
• CodeIgniter
• etc
• Good understanding of SOLID and design patterns
• Familiar with PSR (request, middleware, container, etc)
• Ability to work with legacy code (reverse engineering)
• Strong emphasis on test coverage, experience in efficient unit testing, integration testing, and E2E
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of distributed architecture
• Ability to work with PHP 7.4 and forward compatibility with PHP 8.1

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the migration of a code base of the product from CakePhp 2 to CakePhp 4
• Write maintainable and well-tested code
• Help implement high-quality and long-lasting solutions to complex problems facing event organizers
• Help critique and provide feedback on architecture and implementation of projects
• Help refine tasks and estimates while participating in sprint planning sessions, standups, and retrospectives
• Write software used at scale by world-renowned event brands
