Description:

We are looking for a Oracle Database Admin to join our ambitious project dedicated to one of the Clients of our Fin-tech portfolio. The successful candidate will be working as a part of the distributedcross-functional Scrum team based in Poland.

The successful candidate will work with a world class team to provide enterprise-wide, Oracle Database Administration support for production systems and provide DBA services to application development teams, including database design, database generation, coding, and database production support. Provide DBA support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. Provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems of moderate nature to ensure user productivity.

We are enthusiastic team, tightly integrated with the Customer and empowered for business and technical decisions. This Project is a part of the Multi-Year Program Plan.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
• Proven work experience as a Database administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database management
• Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.
• Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages and API.
• Ability to visualize algorithmic structures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database(s):
• Create database design specifications based on understanding of business transactions.
• Create and maintains database definitions and tables.
• Design, code, test and implement custom database scripts and formal procedures.
• Ensure data integrity; recommend action to maintain data integrity; establish process / procedures for ongoing data cleanup.
• Monitor and maintain databases for proper performance tuning.
• Design, implement and maintain data retention and archival; plan for storage needs, retention, backup and recovery.
• Design, implement and maintain database security.
• Assist in identifying and resolving database problems.
• Identify data sources, construct data decomposition diagrams, provide data flow diagrams and documents the process.
• Design and write codes for database access, modifications and constructions, including stored procedures.
