Our client investing in engineering excellence to increase speed, reduce costs, and develop committed teams. There are several streams of work related to Engineering Excellence, Cloud migrations, building enterprise API frameworks, and Event streaming solutions.
We are looking for a Lead Python Software Engineer to join a new team that will be working on Enterprise Event Framework. Candidate must be proven & relied upon to work independently. Relevant technical skillset and proven systems integration experience are important. The position will require working with team members on a client-side on a daily basis. Good English and communication skills are important.
EPAM team will help our client to develop a reusable Event Framework platform and communications layer to be reusable across all enterprises. It will help our client to enable real-time communications between products, facilitate decision making with better access to data and enhance the reliability and scalability of applications.
You will be engaged in designing an Event Framework using evolutional and domain-oriented event and data streaming architecture as well as defining the roadmap and implementing E2E POC and mainly creating a Python SDK.

Requirements
- Deep knowledge and 4+ years of practical experience in Python engineering
- 1+ years of team leading experience
- Kafka - expert (knows Kafka internals)
- Python - Expert
- Event-driven architecture (messaging, data streams)
- AWS - advanced (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora DB, STS, IAM)
- AWS CDK
- CI/CDT
- Upper-intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)
