Strong Middle Python Developer in EVO

Prom.ua is the largest marketplace in Ukraine, which sells more than 120 million products from 60 thousand entrepreneurs from all over the country:

• Every buyer can find everything they need at the best price - from a toothbrush to a cultivator for the garden and vegetable garden.

• Each entrepreneur can sell his goods in the marketplace catalog, on the website created on the Prom platform, and in the mobile application “Prom shopping”.

A strong engineering department works for the technical support and development of the marketplace. The Merchant Product Integration team develops financial services for sellers - loans, installment payments, and also integrates logistics solutions.

We are currently looking for a Strong Middle Python Developer who will help us scale services, strengthen the quality of solutions and move the product forward.

Main tasks:

• Development of financial services for sellers: payments, loans, internal accounts and other tools.

• Expansion of integrations with logistics partners: Nova Poshta, delivery points Rozetka, Ukrposhta, Meest and others.

• Development and support of API: public for sellers and private for our mobile app.

• Support and stabilization of microservices related to logistics and payments.

• Working with the seller's office, in particular the development of pages and order logic from the merchant side.

What is required for this role:

• During 4+ years of Python experience (we have version 3.13+).

• Knowledge of Postgres or other relational DBMS.

• Experience with Redis.

• Understanding of Kubernetes

• Ability to work with Docker.

• Result oriented and willing to take on tasks that really affect the product.

• Willingness to take responsibility, not afraid to dive into the subject area and ask a lot of questions to understand products.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Helm, Celery, gRPC, ElasticSearch.

• Basic understanding of JS/TS and React (for better interaction with frontend).

• Practice in building and developing REST APIs.

• Understanding Prometheus, Grafana.

• Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with partners.

• Working with highly loaded systems.

• Experience with asynchronous processing — in particular through Kafka.
