Mobile network engineer (drive test) in lifecell

We are looking for a mobile network engineer to join our team at lifecell, a Ukrainian digital operator that has been on the market for more than 15 years, providing real freedom of communication. lifecell is part of the Turkcell group of companies — an international provider of converged telecommunications and technological services, whose head office is located in Istanbul, Turkey. Conducting measurements of quality parameters and coverage of the mobile network, post-processing and analysis of the obtained results. Functional duties: Periodic field measurements of the mobile network (2G, 3G, 4G) across the country. Performance of the following types of tests: comparative, optimization, troubleshooting. Testing of new network functions and parameter efficiency assessment. Preliminary testing of new network elements (cluster and single). Compliance analysis network configuration to the results of field measurements Conducting vehicular, pedestrian and static tests inside and outside buildings. Analysis of measurement results and automation of the reporting process. Reporting of measurement results to internal customers, as well as government agencies. Support and maintenance of the measurement complex. Creation of test scenarios in accordance with research tasks. Setting up a measuring complex and a radio frequency scanner. Participation in the preparation for mass events, conducting testing and checking the network during peak hours. Minimum requirements: Higher education or graduate students (in the field of Telecommunications or Radio Engineering). Work experience: From 2 years of work experience in the telecommunications field in a technical positionLanguages: Ukrainian - fluent English - intermediate level Other: PC skills at the level of an experienced user Expert level of mastering the MS Office package. Driver's license of category "B" (experience from 2 years) Special knowledge/experience: Confident knowledge in in the field of mobile technologies, knowledge of the structure and components of networks of GSM, UMTS, LTE-A standards. Experience with equipment and software for network testing (TEMS Investigation/Pocket/Discovery, NEMO Outdoor/Analyzer, Rohde & Schwarz or similar). Experience in calculating the spread of radio signals and applying coverage calculation models. Knowledge of the architecture and parameters of the mobile network radio access system and the principles of radio communication. Knowledge in the field of modern mobile technologies. Analytical abilities.
